Surface treatment before hot spray aluminum:
1. Sandblasting for rust removal.
(1) Before spraying aluminum on the inner surface of the storage tank, the metal surface must be sandblasted with copper ore to remove rust. The rust removal result should meet the requirements of national standard Sa3 and: the steel surface should be free of visible grease, dirt, oxide scale, paint coating and other attachments, and the surface should display a uniform metallic luster. The surface roughness reaches 75 μ m or above.
(2) Compressed air must pass through a high-performance oil-water separator and buffer tank before entering the spray gun, with a pressure not lower than 0.5MPa.
(3) In order to maintain the roughness and cleanliness of the metal surface, copper ore sand must be clean, dry, and have a particle size of 3-5mm.
2. After sandblasting and rust removal, a vacuum cleaner should be used to remove dust from the metal surface.
Metal surfaces that have undergone sandblasting and rust removal must not be touched by hand and should be sprayed as soon as possible.
